Terms of Service

Last updated: June 12, 2026. These are general terms for using Chessflaw. They are written plainly so users can understand the basics of the relationship.

Use of Chessflaw

Chessflaw provides chess game import, analysis, mistake tracking, puzzles, and training tools. You agree to use the service lawfully and not attempt to abuse, disrupt, scrape, resell, or reverse engineer the platform.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity under your account. If you sign in with Google or email, you authorize us to create and maintain a Chessflaw account for you.

Chess Data

You may add public Chess.com or Lichess usernames, import PGNs, and save analysis. You confirm that you have the right to provide this data and understand that public game data may be fetched from third-party chess platforms.

Subscriptions and Refunds

Paid plans unlock additional features. Prices, billing periods, and plan benefits are shown on the subscribe page. You may cancel anytime. Refunds may be reviewed case by case, including the stated 30-day rating-improvement policy where applicable.

No Guaranteed Rating Gain

Chessflaw is a training and analysis product. We can identify patterns and provide practice tools, but we cannot guarantee specific rating gains, tournament results, or chess outcomes.

Third-Party Services

Chessflaw may rely on services such as Google authentication, Razorpay payments, Chess.com, Lichess, Supabase, and AI model providers. Their own terms and policies may also apply to your use of those services.

Availability

We aim to keep Chessflaw reliable, but the service may be unavailable during maintenance, outages, provider failures, or changes to third-party APIs.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Chessflaw is provided as is and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use of Chessflaw after changes means you accept the updated terms.
